…I wonder how much of a smartarse I would be if I wore the new Calliope hoodie (when it comes in the mail anyway) over my Caliborn shirt…
Or maybe that’s Just As Planned.

Or maybe that’s Just As Planned.
I had a random thought- the tricksters we’ve seen so far (the ones actually in the comic and not as an Easter Egg, plus Calliope’s fanart of Roxy) all have swirled cheeks.
Just like Calliope and Caliborn (before he took over dominating the body).
So swirlie-marks on the cheeks = an incomplete domination of a part of someone’s personality.
With this in mind, it’s my random thought is that when someone is in Trickster!Mode, it lets loose a part of their psyche, one that they usually keep repressed… but it’s still them. So yes, while Jane is acting strange, she’s not ENTIRELY out of character.
…it’s sort of like someone’s Shadow if you happen to have played Persona 4.
Then again this might be entirely obvious and I’m just stating it in a horrible, rambly way.
Today I wore my Caliborn T-shirt… with Disney Princess socks. For some reason, it amused me quietly in the back of my head all day.
I’ve managed to watch four episodes of Puella Magi Madoka Magica- and don’t get me wrong, I like it so far… but is it just me, or does this anime spend an inordinate amount of time just… focusing on people’s legs?
And the legs look sort of weirdly-drawn for some reason. Maybe not even the shape of the legs, but the positioning? Like it doesn’t really look like a comfortable way to be walking/running around sometimes.
…what I’m saying is that it kind of bugs me, and it’s a really stupid thing to be bugged about.
I should probably go to sleep. The plot/concept is fascinating, and here I am griping about legs.
LEGS. XD;
It was too big to make a screenshot of, so I just reblogged the thing that the arrow pointed to. (a post or so back)
My future, it is cats, appurrently. :33
I think I’ll finally change my icon once I settle in for the night… it’s been the creepy ghost gal from Corpse Party for way too long. Maybe I’ll go festive?
I’ve decided to slowly start watchingPuella Magi Madoka Magica (I hope I got that name right) because I found out it was on Crunchyroll and that I wouldn’t have to hunt for fansubs or something like that.
…I wonder if I would have the same overwhelming sense of Something Ain’t Right right at episode one if I was going in entirely blind instead of being somewhat-vaguely-spoiled because I never avoid spoilers for anything?
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Abandoned Pit
(or Path of the Departed)
As mentioned in my post about a Corpse Party music track- I really like horror game soundtracks, and only a few of them actually make me feel creeped out. This is another one of them. I think I’m picking up on a theme here- it seems like it’s the lonely piano pieces that keep me out. That disquieting feeling of isolation, of abandonment…
…of course, when I have my ipod on random play, one can probably guess how often this track likes to come on in the middle of the night XD
Disclaimer: I did not upload the song to youtube- I just found it on there. This soundtrack is available on Itunes- which I find is a really neat thing~ When I bought the soundtrack myself, I had to import the CD XD
Corpse Party - Mind of Frenzy
I really really like horror games (even if I completely suck at them), and a lot of them have fantastic soundtracks… but there’s like only a handful of tracks that just make me feel all creeped out just from the music alone.
This is one of them. I don’t know why, but it makes me feel chilled to the bone and sort of like my stomach is all twisted up. …and it’s just sort of a lonely piano piece, by and large, so I don’t know why it does that to me.
Disclaimer: I did not upload the song to youtube- I just found it on there.
