A thought pops into my mind…
I wonder if anyone else buys tabletop roleplaying game books just to READ like I do…? I’ve never really had the social network to have a IRL gaming GROUP -
(Except that one time I played a couple games of D&D and all I can remember is my character encountered a magical chess trap and they forced me to play out a game of chess despite not knowing the rules or anything and I lost stats. I’m still bitter- and still won’t learn how to play chess despite LOVING chess motifs in entertainment. I’m only hurting myself… but seriously, making someone take half an hour out of the game they wanted to be playing to play a game they don’t know how to play with character stats at risk was kind of a mean move.)
- but I find a lot of tabletop RPG stuff really, really interesting.
Maybe I’m just kind of ridiculous XD
